Annie Mist Thorisdottir, a CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. The co-owner is Crossfit Reykjavik where she also coaches and trains. Annie is the first woman to be crowned the winner of both the CrossFit Games twice. The CrossFit Games were her second place CrossFit Games in 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir, the Icelandic CrossFit weightlifter, media celebrity as well as a CrossFit competitor - is a CrossFit athlete from Iceland. It was her fame that made her the first woman to have won two CrossFit Games, in 2011 as well as 2012. Other accomplishments include winning the Dubai Fitness Championships in 2017 and 2013. Annie was born and brought to Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and brothers. Being a sports and exercise enthusiast since a young age she participated in various school games and was awarded numerous medals. However, she was unable achieve any title but ended up in 11th place in the final ranking. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Annie placed 2nd at CrossFit Games in 2010 under Jami's supervision. Next year, she participated again in CrossFit Games which she won thanks to her outstanding performance. The first woman to ever succeed in winning CrossFit Games. Annie became the very first female to win consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to her outstanding performance. Additionally, in 2014, she was awarded a silver medal and recently in 2021 won the bronze medal in CrossFit Games. Annie is currently a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was created by Annie. Annie is an athlete in the making, was featured in adverts for products that are used in sports, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration, Yerbae Renaissance sidekick Transparent Labs for Periodization and many more. About a thousand users subscribe to her self-titled Youtube Channel, where she publishes training videos, family videos and travel-related vlogs.
