Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American actor and singer is extremely popular. As a child Sara was targeted for racial discrimination by many people in America. In her 9th year that she started to feel more confident following her acclaim at an audition. Her professional career began at age 23 with Paul Simon's The Capeman on Broadway and You've Got Mail in film. However her greatest breakthrough came when she starred in the part of The Lady of The Lake in the very first Broadway performance of Spamalot garnering not only her the Tony Award for her performance but also great critical acclaim. In the following year, she was cast as Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her gain more fame. As a professional singer She has also recorded one single and an extended work.
